Jasper County Deputy arrested two for Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance in Jasper

On January 17th, 2025 at approximately 2:00 am, a Jasper County Sheriff’s Deputy was patrolling a neighborhood in north Jasper County. The deputy conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle and noticed indicators of criminal activity. During the deputy’s investigation, it was discovered that the driver and passenger were in possession of a clear, chrystal like substance believed to be methamphetamines.
The driver was identified as Craig Hudson, 64, and the passenger was identified as Tyra Watson, 39, both of Jasper. They were arrested and charged with Possession of a Controlled Substance(F2). Additionally, Watson was also charged with Tampering with Evidence and traffic warrants. Both were brought to the Jasper County Jail.
