Easley plead guilty to sexual assault of two children

52-year-old Kevin Easley of Lufkin has plead guilty to the Sexual Assault of two children.

As potential jurors were preparing for jury selection in the District Courtroom in Jasper Monday morning, Easley's attorney, Ryan Deaton of Lufkin, and Jasper County District Attorney Anne Pickle struck a deal in the case.

As we previously reported, Easley was accused of the sexual assault of a girl back in 2021. Easley was also scheduled to be tried on another case involving a different victim at a later date.

After pleading guilty in both cases, Easley was given two 10 year prison sentences to run concurrently.
